Security tips to keep you and your home safe
- You can talk through your phone and it can come out the doorbell even when you’re not home, this is a great feature if you’re down the shops and miss a delivery. You’d be able to talk to delivery driver and tell them where you place your parcel for safe keeping. The doorbell will activate before anyone presses it, giving you a notification at any motion sensed
- Remove any Keysafes you have with house keys in it. Hiding the keys somewhere only you know is a much safer option.
- Always lock your doors and windows
- UPS or Uninterrupted Power Supply unit is a great way of keeping the cameras active incase of a power outage. Ask for more info.
- A Friendly neighbour always helps.
- Per doors are a big vulnerability, if they are big enough and not properly installed, you can quite easily get through them.
- If you need camera coverage in a certain area that doesn’t have internet, a camera can be installed with a SIM card to provide internet to it. This is great if you have a long driveway and need coverage at the front gate.
- Having security signage is always a good idea.
